The Hampton Bays Chamber of Commerce is an organization for the purpose of advancing the commercial, industrial, civic and general interests of the Hampton Bays area.
Our hamlet of Hampton Bays is known as “The boat ways of the Hamptons”. Hampton Bays is the only Hampton to have access to all surrounding waterways. From Shinnecock and Tiana Bays, boaters can reach the Atlantic Ocean through the Shinnecock Inlet or North to the Great Peconic via the Shinnecock Canal.
Hampton Bays is known for its pristine beaches and excellent fishing facilities. We are home to the second largest commercial fishing fleet in the State of New York. The Shinnecock Inlet is an ideal spot to find striped bass and bluefish. This area is a favorite for divers and sailors alike.
The hamlet is also home to the finest fresh fish and seafood markets in the Hamptons. Visit one of our many seafood restaurants to sample our deliciously prepared local fare.
While visiting Hampton Bays you may also want to sample some other varieties of dining. We are fortunate to have a wide selection to choose from, please for some tempting choices.
We have many activities to enjoy in Hampton Bays. Whether you are coming for the day or spending a week there is always family oriented fun. Picnic areas, volleyball courts, hiking trails, bicycling, and horseback riding to name a few. Or how about Jet skiing around the bay, camping by a pond, or chartering a boat for the day. And for those rainy days, you might want to catch a movie at our local theater, and shop ‘til you drop at local boutiques.
Nightlife is alive and exciting in Hampton Bays. We are home to the famous CPI, Long Islands largest nightclub. As well as many area Hamptons Dance and Beach Clubs and local Pubs.
Directions: LIE - east to Exit 70 ( County Rd. 111 - South) ; Continue until road ends- follow arrows to left; you will be on Route 27(Sunrise Hwy.) - East; Drive to Exit 65- Route 24 South/Hampton Bays. Go to the left at the Diner for downtown Hampton Bays, Restaurants, Shopping and Beaches. Go to the Right for Motels, Shopping and the Boardy Barn.
